For many months after I moved to India, many would ask me what it is that I miss the most about the US. The top two things were my friends and some foods. One of these was cheese.
Firstly, let me say that I am no big connoisseur of cheese. I use basic cheeses such as Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, Ricotta and Parmesan. However, when I first moved to Pune, I found only various processed cheese (including some cheddar….which also tasted processed). The kids and I called it “fake cheese”. For many months we used our favourite brand of this fake cheese…..waiting for a relative to visit from the US, so that they could bring us the more authentic cheeses.
One day, a friend told me about this place that sells all kinds of cheese. I went and checked it out, and was pleasantly surprised to find not just cheddar and mozzarella, but also Monterey Jack, Parmesan and Ricotta. It’s a place called ABC Farms. They have lots of other cheese as well, such as gorgonzola, edam, gruyere, gouda, mascarpone, etc.
Bon Appetit.

I am a french guy , I was looking for French cheese in pune, and I found a new company that imports some French cheese. It is settled in Pune and they practice home delivery. The quality is excellent; it is the only way to find such good French cheeses in India. I advise you to visit their website and to order one of their cheeses to taste. They have a wide range of cheeses, camembert, saint nectaire, cantal, tome… and so on ! Visit on http://www.west4you.com/.
